I think this might be the most impressive game of the season when you look back on the whole thing. That or UK, but UK finished 7-6 and LSU won the West.

We are doing great overall, but I do think at times according to what you read and hear, our staff may take almost a too laid back, go check everyone out and then come back, do what's best for you, approach that may be backfiring on us with a few kids.

I mean, good business folks know when to cut off a negotiation and not overpay.

At the end of the day, believe it or not for some, our NIL orgs do have a budget and can't act like Miami and sign a bunch of guys on handshakes that will never come to fruition.

We have to build our portfolio with business savvy and smarts, not like a drunken loon.

Who says it’s wrong? How many games have you won as a college football HC? How many players have you recruited?

Best to just wait and see what the results on the field are the next few years wouldn’t ya say?

Lmao "constantly".

Butch was 2/5 for 40%.

Pruitt was 0/3 for 0%...though he did finish 11th in his first full class...so close!

Hype is currently 1/2 for 50% with this year a likely 2nd in 3 full classes.

If you're expecting anything close to a >30% hit rate on big names when you're literally battling 3-8 other big time schools with big time offers, you'll be disappointed.

I don't see any other underperforming program the last 15 years doing any better in the NiL environment than us. We literally landed our best QB recruit since Peyton and now are looking at B2B top 10 classes Even Callahan predicted we finish 8th-9th. We've done that exactly once since the mid 2000s. Except now we're actually winning at football on the field, instead of trying to "win the offseason".

I’m really interested in seeing how Chadwell does this season at Liberty. Liberty was a 8 win program under Freeze but I think Chadwell can take them up a notch. They should challenge WKU immediately for the conference championship. Chadwell is an energetic recruiter and great scheme guy with in game adjustments.
