Been watching SEC media days and my not so bold pick is that Bama will not finish in the top 15 this year. I know it's Saban's "revenge" year but they are terrible at a lot of positions. IMO they are going to have to rely on defense to win multiple games

They will have to lose 4 games for the AP to do that to them

No. Muhammad Ali was the greatest trash talker in sports history. Deion was an excellent trash talker as a player. The issue is that he could back up his trash talk as a player. He's about to find out that he can't back up the trash talk as a head coach.

Deion ain't wrong though. I wouldn't have taken the cutting of players as far as he did but he had to see a drastic turnover in talent to have a chance. Plus Venables walked into a premier program and took them to a 6-7 record. My guess is that Colorado is pretty close to that this year.

You ever eat Southern Craft up there in JC? We go up there pretty regularly and love that place.

My Aunt and Uncle have a cabin up at Watauga Lake. Southern Craft just burned down up there, couple weeks back. Really sucks, excellent bbq. Great place to entertain clients, bc of their bourbon. And the burnt ends, not ironically.

Louisville is my surprise team of 2023 with Jeff Brohm leading the charge. They brought in an influx of talent compared to most of the ACC. He’ll do really well there. Now the question is what if Currie had hired him in 2017 for the Vols job? When asked about the rumors Brohm said when there’s smoke there’s fire a few years back. Would’ve been a great hire imo. But happy we have Heupel now. Heupel has done a great job

I think Brohm would have been a good, not great hire. We would be an 8-9 win team consistently. Thank the Lord for Danny White

Would there be any interest in him? Supposedly has receiving skills as well. Would he have to sit out this year? I would doubt that as he never played a down in Athens.

Probably counts as a transfer since he enrolled so yeah he’d have to sit out. Also probably something weird going on. Situation feels very Arik Gilbert like.

The one position you can't be terrible at is QB and that is what they are. This is the reason that I'm not sure that UGA is going to win it all this year. I think it will be Vols and LSU in the SEC championship game.

The wife actually planned to take me there for Father’s day and it burned down like 1-2 weeks before. We wanted to try it since we go to the JC location so often. Their Bourbon list at the JC location is awesome. Wasn’t sure if Watauga had that too.

Could it be because FLA is not a great team from top to bottom therefore are able to bring in good recruits by promising freshmen early playing time?
