One of trolls here was going to the mat repeatedly yesterday, defending his contention -- in the face of abundant photographic evidence to the contrary -- that Miami plays in front of home-field crowds of 55,000. He's got a brand new anti-Vol take today. I forget what. Something something can't recruit something something LSU something.

In that dude’s defense, I thought he was crazy with that 55K claim until I Googled it and 55K popped up. Disclaimer - in no way do I believe Miami had 55K butts in seats for home games last year. Guess I can’t trust everything I read on the internet?

What has Kiffin proven other than he’s an 8-5 coach? Look at his career record as well as recent records. Decent Coach nothing special. Doubt Florida would go for that or want that

Well they did with John Campbell. The transfer kid that went to Oregon we didn’t think was that good.

What other tackles have taken us seriously? What miami paid Mauigoa was obscene. Not sensical. Calhoun is a guard. Warren isn’t an NIL deal. We bungled the Lucas Simmons and Staunton Ramil recruitments. We couldn’t get traction with Josiah Thompson or Kam Pringle. Marques Easley had some medical issues. Fletcher Westphal never felt realistic. Ethan Calloway I’m not sure what happened.

And none of those dudes would’ve taken a buttload of cash to come here?

Don't need to come for all the right reasons.. at the end of the day even if hundreds of thousands of dollars of more money is a ton, most of these kids are focused on best path to the league and don't prioritize only NIL - just getting something fair and then moving on. Alabama, Ohio St and Alabama offer far less than almost every other school and still are top 5 class year in and year out

There is no reasonable reason to bitch about recruiting in July in my opinion. If this were November then fine. But now? I mean more names will come up and flips will happen.

Yet you were bitching in May because South Carolina was ranked one spot ahead of Tennessee in the team rankings.
