Is it a separate test they do only for people with or in danger of diabetes? Or idk why it's not in my blood panels.
I get it done during my Endocrinology appointments along with A1C. Next one for me is in September. Along with my regular meds, I’ve been taking supplements. One is Cinnsulin…basically concentrated cinnamon. That got me down to my lowest level in years. Only need to drop to 6 to be optimal…so hope this stuff does the trick.

Just ordered some of the powder on Amazon. I’ll let you know how it works. I’m Type II

I brew a decoction with 14g of herb to 5-ish cups of water for 30 minutes. Then drink some early and the rest late.

Another interesting side effect: it inhibits FAAH which breaks down anandamide, the so-called "bliss molecule". That results in an acute increase in anandamide. It doesn't result in a high per se, but it is a dang pleasant sensation none the less.

Is it? Those guys were throwing max 85-90, probably fastballs only. Playing a bunch of guys that would be ok high school pitchers in todays game. Babe had power but his form was crap. Now you have guys throwing 2 seamer, 4 seamers, curves, sliders, drop balls, change-ups and sidearm at 90 mph average around the league. Multiple guys topping 103.

Plus, he didn’t play against the best of the best, it was the best of the white guys.

Ruth swung sitting fastball every pitch. Swinging like a 4 year old boy. Today he’d be a guy that would be playing slow pitch softball hitting it a country mile.

Stupid you don’t have the mind to think things through.
Read an interesting article (not to do with Ruth or that era) about speed guns. It all has to do with where the gun reads the pitch, as it comes out faster than when it hits the glove, by as much as 7-10%.

Article said when Nolan Ryan was throwing 100 in the late 70s, it may have been more like 108-109 mph as recorded today 😵‍💫

Chloride apparently has a specific affinity for prostate. There are some pretty cool anecdotes from doctors back in the early 1900s about helping with BPH and urine retention, and there has been recent research as well, so I started taking it. I buy it a kilogram at a time, make a saturated solution (Mg oil) and keep it in a squeeze bottle, and take a teaspoon of that every day. That equates to a couple hundred mg of elemental Mg.

Glycine is a useful amino acid, and Mg glycinate provides that while being very well absorbed, so I take 400mg elemental of that as well.

Malate is a good form as well. No problem with it, so yeah finish it, but I prefer glycinate.
SS out here trying to defeat death 😄

Always appreciate your reseach though.

I doubt it's a relevant dose, but I add a pinch of a cinnamon/orange/clove black tea (Rostov's Richmond blend) to the phyllanthus niruri to add some flavor. It's not bad by itself, but with the other tea added it tastes good enough that I actually enjoy drinking it.

Since every bowl game and stadium has a corporate sponsor, why not have corporate sponsors for their new conference?

The schools better get a custom jet made because I don't see too many players even fitting into non-business class seats. Alternatively, it would be funny for an O-line or D-line to mockingly try to 3 players in 3 seats in the cheap seats.

they threw more than fastballs….I don’t think Babe Ruth as he was built would be as dominant in todays game but you don’t compare him to todays players…. You compare it to the other guys he played against…. His first year…. He hit 54 homeruns….. the second closest guy had 19…. That is unreal.

I do hate that Josh Gibson didn’t get a chance to play Major League Baseball but the negroe league was not loaded with talent at the time…. Especially the pitching depth of the league… I saw one report that said that negroe league players on average…. Hit 40 points lower once they entered the league…. To be fair, I’m not sure if it took into consideration the players age at the time….
