WTH…… Never Ever bet against the Vols……
I was an avid sports gambler until about 7 years ago and very successful at it….. I had a few rules…. 1. Never bet with feelings( teams you love)2. Never bet on something that wasn’t planned (broke that a few times) 3. Never ever ever bet against your favorite team(especially the Vols)….. Betting against the Vols is a line that you do not cross…… it’s too easy to make money gambling on other games.I only have once that I recall. That was against Miss St. when we were totally abysmal and OF COURSE Tennessee covered easily. But with all due respect, you should not mix feelings and gambling. If a line actually seemed like free $ against the Vols I would have to take it. I would just root for my bet to lose but me and you rooting for anything won't change the outcome.
Edit: I was also tempted to take Florida with the points and honestly Florida getting that many points any year is free $.

Those are good rules. The lines on #2 and #3 get blurred when you hate the Gump head coach and writing is on the wall for his future and the season's future (toilet). I haven't done this one yet either...but Rick Barnes march ATS record is 1-12 and again, me rooting for either side won't affect the outcome. I guess it's less evil to take something like Longwood +20 assuming we will win but not cover.
Agreed. If you put him on a short leash, and we lose, then it’ll look bad for everyone with lots of negative vibes heading into SpringThey better let Joe be Joe. Unleash him. If you play not to get him hurt then he will get hurt, same as playing not to lose will only end in a loss.
If this is truly the Joe Milton era then he deserves the opportunity to be who he is going to be for the next 12 or so months. Let him run, let him bomb it, let him make mistakes, we'll see what he's made of.
Maybe it was hyperbole on your part. I think he's probably 2-6 ATS at UT in the NCAAT.
This Rick Barnes Trend is 12-1 (92%) ATS Since 2010
Just a quick google search for a stat I recalled reading, won't swear to the accuracy and will not put in the time to verify.

But if you bet against them then Win or Lose you come out with something to be happy about lol. Knowing my luck I'd lose my money every time I bet against the VolsI was an avid sports gambler until about 7 years ago and very successful at it….. I had a few rules…. 1. I dont I usually bet on the Vols which gets me in trouble, but I have a friend who does this. He puts a few bucks on whoever his favorite team is playing that way he's happy no matter what happens at the end of the game. But if you bet against them then Win or Lose you come out with something to be happy about lol.
