Anyone else on the verge of being collaterally impacted by the Big 3 Detroit negotiations at work?

Wild times. We are considering 50% reduction in both hourly and salary if it comes to that. Uneasy times.

Only nice part is they would fund an unemployment account with attachment, meaning workers could receive unemployment in the meantime without looking for other work.
🤔...I wanna be a smart arse so bad right now...but it would get immediately deleted so.....nevermind.

Jeez man! Is it a for sure thing?

I'm Sorry!

I wouldnt try sneaking away; but, in that situation, there is no "right way" to do it, you know. I would have had a better press conference, i'd hope...I would have tried the best I could to show how appreciative I am to the place I'm departing, even though NO ONE would want to hear it.

Accepting the job never bothered me about Kiffin...it was the moment after he accepted it, and then the proceeding moments. The classlessness he showed during that "press conference", it showed the world what a dirt bag he is.

Now, the trying to convince players to follow him...getting into the meat and potatoes of my hatred for him.

Me, I would have taken the job, hands down...but, only if it's UT calling; then tried to be as graceful AND grateful as I possibly could be, on my way out the door.

Again, him accepting the job never bothered me, in the slightest...it was all the Trojan sh!t in the locker rooms, and all that stuff...it was the classlessness that IS Lane Kiffin. I think you know what I'm talking about. He's just a classless dude. Classlessness BEFORE accepting USC job, classlessness AFTER he accepted the job.

If any of that made sense, Doc??

Yessir, absolutely.
I was the most excited about the kiffin travesty when it ended. I actually celebrated.
Little did I know how bad it would get afterwards.

But, I am not looking in the past anymore.

To infinity and beyond with CJH!
We have a real football coach, staff and team!
Our Volunteers are awesome!

It’s Time!

15-0 🤠

If not for that damn Rose Bowl, my vote would be for the 1939 Tennessee Volunteers coached by General Robert Neyland. Not a single score allowed during the regular season.

Now, I was not alive for that season myself, but @VolsDoc81TX and @InVOLuntary have both told me how spectacular it was before we blew it in the Rose Bowl.

Hey, the team would have blanked the trojans too, but General Neyland didn’t care about bowl games at all.
He actually slipped @InVOLuntary and me some money to take the team out to have fun before the game. You don’t tell him no. 😎

I gotta say after following this exchange and normally being a baseball analytics nerd hater myself...while the Triple Crown is an awesome amazing achievement, the fact Cabrera was absolutely useless as a defender while Trout was awesome offensively and defensively makes this a really tough call for me.
I love the baseball analytics (obviously). And WAR isn’t some scientific test tube creation. It’s compromised of traditional baseball counting stats.

The MVP is more than just stats.

Cabrera led his team to a Division title and playoff run. He deserved the trophy, imo.

Doesn’t mean his season was better than Trout’s. He had an amazing season for a winner. He was the MVP.

This important point seems to have been omitted from the SEC's release at the spring meeting:

But who would love this more than Sabey and Sabey's direct report Sankey? So I checked a Bammaw source. Per AL.com:

"Fines will now be paid to the opposing schools instead of the previous model that had the money go to an SEC scholarship fund. The new fine structure:
  • First offense: $100,000 (up from $50,000)
  • Second offense: $250,000 (up from $100,000)
  • Third and up: $500,000 (up from $250,000)
"Under this plan, Alabama would have been paid $1 million last year with $500,000 apiece from Tennessee and LSU after the field was rushed after both Tide losses.

"Alabama AD Greg Byrne was part of a three-person working group tasked with finding solutions to field-storming incidents that turned ugly. He suggested stripping home games from offending teams..."

Source: New SEC field-storming rules increase fines

Byrne had an "interesting" suggestion:

“...do you lose a home game?” Byrne said. “I don’t know how much support that has. Is there a way to do some more fines in a little more creative way?"

What you got was Bama-initated "creativity." Source: New policy: SEC teams will pay opponents if fans storm field

If I were AD Danny White, when the fans storm the field after uga comes up for the whooping, I would make a grand gesture of donating the penalty money to a charity in ugas name. Then dare the SEC to challenge it or make Tennessee actually pay georgia. . I would wear them out in the courts before I would actually give a penny to another SEC team. Just my two cents.

Cause Tennessee fans will be storming many fields this year en route to

15-0 🤠

Vamos Vols!

Kirby is a punta (not sure of the spelling) 😁
