Ok. So another possibility here.

Say they accept that offer, start getting paid now per Missouri law, and then back out of the contract. Would assume they would owe any money received back but would still be a pretty sweet "loan" for a high school senior.

Why would they have to pay back money with the same name, image, and likeness, just a different location.

This was about 15 years ago when I lived in Memphis. We were at a bar in East Memphis and Daly was there drunk as . He left about 2 in the morning. I think he shot 67 or 68 the next day at the Memphis Tournament

My take on this Friday before COLLEGE FOOTBALL STARTS…..

If we come out and blow the doors off people this year again and Joe has a good year, it’s gonna get a lot easier to recruit offensive players going forward.

One thing we heard a couple times this year was that some recruits want to see if the VOLS can keep it up or was last year just the stars aligning….. we are gonna see real soon. If there isn’t much of a drop off, recruiting is gonna be great for years to come.

Think they have concerns, certainly about C, but feel they've managed them as best they can with the guys we have. Everybody will settle into their rotations and get more comfortable as the season goes on.

But I'll ride with 15-0.

I'm not positive they do. Someone responded to my post in Wyngo thread saying they would, so I was just saying even if they do.

Think about this. If they would be on the hook for it, I'm thinking the new team/collective would pony up that money. Kinda like paying a coaches buyout.

All this just seems so crazy, but yet, here we are!

So if NIL cannot be tied to signing with a particular school, then what stops Missouri athletes from collecting compensation for a few months and then signing with another program?

I have followed the football Vols since 1972 when I first was able to understand the game as a young child. My advice to Vol fans is to ignore all the prognosticators and enjoy the ride this year. Our defense is going to be much better and we will be able to score lots of points. Again sit back and enjoy the ride. The Vols are going to make some noise this year.

Wild times. We are considering 50% reduction in both hourly and salary if it comes to that. Uneasy times.

Only nice part is they would fund an unemployment account with attachment, meaning workers could receive unemployment in the meantime without looking for other work.
