Ok. So another possibility here.
Say they accept that offer, start getting paid now per Missouri law, and then back out of the contract. Would assume they would owe any money received back but would still be a pretty sweet "loan" for a high school senior.
Go Vols!My take on this Friday before COLLEGE FOOTBALL STARTS…..
If we come out and blow the doors off people this year again and Joe has a good year, it’s gonna get a lot easier to recruit offensive players going forward.
One thing we heard a couple times this year was that some recruits want to see if the VOLS can keep it up or was last year just the stars aligning….. we are gonna see real soon. If there isn’t much of a drop off, recruiting is gonna be great for years to come.
Y’all have a great weekend and enjoy this weekends games.
If the OC doesn't seem to have any concerns about the OL play this season why should I.... 15-0 baby......
Dang they really that scared of missing 1 player that they would risk injury to the rest of the team just to have him for fsu?https://x.com/on3sports/status/1695168941159481502?s=46
LSU looked into scheduling a Week 0 opponent to avoid the Maason Smith suspension against FSU.
Why would they have to pay back money with the same name, image, and likeness, just a different location.
That was my thought.I'm not positive they do. Someone responded to my post in Wyngo thread saying they would, so I was just saying even if they do.
Think about this. If they would be on the hook for it, I'm thinking the new to would pony up that money. Kinda like paying a coaches buyout.
All this just seems so crazy, but yet, here we are!
Nothing, but why many schools are structuring multi-year deals and abilities to cancel.Posted this in the Wyngo thread but am wondering what you morans' thoughts are on this?
So if NIL cannot be tied to signing with a particular school, then what stops Missouri athletes from collecting compensation for a few months and then signing with another program?
https://www.si.com/fannation/colleg... disallowed by,going to any particular school.
"recruits cannot sign any NIL deal contingent on going to any particular school"
