Thank goodness for recording....remember back in the day when if you missed it you missed it for good unless you had cable and a VCR.

A lot of games before that, you had to go 100% radio, wait for the Sunday paper for photos and the coach's show for edited film of the game.

The time frame he served in was the late 60s early 70s so it makes things a little hard to follow with all the reorganizing that was going on. But I at least know the tab was there which is a cool bit of personal/family history to be proud of.

It is very cool. Only about 1% of the US population serves in the military and only a fraction of that 1% even attempt Ranger school and only about 50% of those complete it. Rangers are amongst the elite.

I myself completed several finance schools which are not all that difficult, but they are mostly air conditioned and I am soft like that.
