With all of the seniors on our roster this year, many of which carried recruiting rankings much lower than the guys we've landed in the 2023 and 2024 classes, I would imagine that our average recruiting ranking will increase dramatically beginning next year.

Where is Campanella in your list of catchers?
He’s a special case with the truncated career. He was barred from playing on the front end, with an accident on the back end.

But he had a 5 year run that rivals Bench, at least offensively. He wasn’t the same defender, but few were.

He had 4 seasons in ‘51-‘55 where he averaged -
.306, 32 HR, 114 RBI, 90 Runs

He was awesome.

I would like to see your arch enemies list the Boston Red Sox I'm sure Carlton Fisk is on it along with Ted Williams.... Jim Rice and Freddie Lynn...pitcher Bill Lee and Mike Torrez ....isn't Torrez the one that gave up Bucky Dents HR in 77' I believe?

Ugh. I already feel dirty having to talk up Ted Williams as it is.

Won’t include Ortiz or Manny. I’ll go ahead and say that!

Very nice article. Hard to believe is from KNS!

Joe Milton and Adam Sparks are back on good terms. Glad to see it. The KNS sports department has not been afraid to openly air personal grudges in the past.

We really are in a new era, so I want to take the opportunity to say I respect everyone’s opinion in here. Even when I’m fairly certain it’s wrong.

FYI this news has been baked into the Vegas number far before you heard about it. Just a general rule I try to remind myself of so I don't get the false impression I am getting a good deal on the number.
I believe you're right on this one. I'm pretty sure I was hearing at least two weeks ago that he wasn't expected to play in the Florida game. I think the line would have been considerably higher were he expected to play. Florida is going to suck out loud this year.
