I just got a masterbilt gravity smoker and that thing is great. Done ribs and a butt so far. Good charcoal and wood taste. I’ve done burgers and steak on them too. They weren’t as good as cooking over coals imo. But solid smoker though

Good luck with that happening but I get what your getting at...give a little in retrospect people spend more...

It would be a good move, imo. People who get the discount would brag like crazy and the benefit for how people see the AD would be great. Plus it could allow a lot of people too have a better experience, having an extra $100 to spend before/during/after the game could mean a lot to a lot of families. Make it easy to buy the kids a shirt or something they couldn't have done before.

I thought about both of them. Loved them both. They just didn't win enough games at the end of the day. Wood's 20 SO one hitter is still the most dominant pitching effort ever, IMO. I saw him throw when he was at AA and the Cubs AA team was West Tenn. I think. He came into Knoxville and absolutely dominated. I thought prior was going to be a HOF. I love the talk. It has made me go back and look some stuff up. I used to know this stuff frontwards and backwards. But, I have gotten old and I forget **** now. I am very grateful to you, @volbeast33 and @85SugarVol for bringing up all this baseball history stuff. Absolutely love it.

And they don't get a TN team that will lay down for them anymore, UGA is better than them and LSU is about equal to them in talent right now.

I put Brooks Robinson over Mike Schmidt at 3rd base..

Schmidt is the best power hitting 3B of all time.

Defense is difference imo ...Brooks 16 Gold Gloves ,he had 1 MVP season and a World series MVP but Schmidt had 3 MVP's and also a WS MVP... He had better power numbers than Brooks but their career BA are exactly the same .268... So if you prefer Offense it's Schmidt ...

Then why not the Wizard at SS? Probably the most important defensive position.

Brooks Robinson is the Gold standard. No 3B has accumulated more Total Zone runs saved.

No player period, actually (more than Willie, Ozzie, Yaz, or Clemente).

But would it surprise you that Schmidt is top 10 in TZR? And he’s a 10x Gold Glove at 3B too. He was no slouch over there. On par defensively with Adrian Beltre & Nolan Arenado per innings played.

I LOVE Thurman Munson. It’s a shame he was cut down, and a shame he’s not in the Hall.

But Johnny Bench was better. He just was. He was just flat awesome. And that’s no knock against Munson.

Yogi gets lost as a player. He’s a baseball icon, somewhat overlooked as a player.
But dude won 3 AL MVPs sharing a dugout with Joe DiMaggio & Mickey Mantle. He was awesome, and is #2 behind Bench.

Where is Campanella in your list of catchers?
