Ok got a question for you guys/gals that are Card collectors and need some help.

Have a nephew that is wanting to get into Baseball/Football Card Collecting.

As a kid I used to collect cards myself but haven’t bought cards in decades.

Can you guys give me let’s say Top 5 Boxes or brands to buy? Or what to look out for? What to stay away from?

I’m wanting to get him a couple boxes for his upcoming Bday. Maybe some boxes with Autos? Don’t care too much about pricing, but nothing crazy.

For football cant go wrong with prizm,optic or select. For baseball Topps cosmic chrome, bowman chrome or just plain Topps. Just my opinion. Good luck and happy bday to your nephew.

Well, he also had Monte. I don't think Lane gets hired by Al Davis or us without daddy being as respected as he is. (In fact, I'm convinced Hamilton or the Haslams had a thing for nepo hires given he also hired Dooley based on name). No one expected Lane to be such an immature snot. I do think he's finally grown out of it somewhat but Lane was the ultimate nepo baby. I'm not saying he's talentless but he wouldn't have been handed the keys to anything without earning his stripes if he had a different last name.

You just can't heal old age...and just like people some live a few years past the relative 90 year old mark, but his old body just gave out on him.

Mine was 15 years old and his body just gave out on him last week and we had to put him down.

Al Davis made some truly abysmal decisions in the 2000's

Started with trading Jon Gruden and then nothing but pure boneheadedness.
