The folks calling for the apocalypse have always been around and have always been wrong.

But nothing stops the new age fatalists from thinking we are somehow unique and this time is really the end of humanity. That is EGO.

You can’t genuinely look at how society seems to be crumbling and think that is natural and normal right? I know you’re older than me but damn, my generation and Gen Z younger than me are not great symbolisms of hope

Damn bru. Truly sorry. I can never get over my cats.

Our last one passed the week before our wedding. Was due to be put down in our home. She passed 2 days before that could happen, laying on the couch on my wife. Still chokes me up. And now our oldest is 13 and has been truly my closest pet ever by far. I hate to think of when her time comes 😑

T&Ps man. And I actually mean it when it comes to a pet's passing.

"Society crumbling" is full of ego and exceptionalism.

Humanity has been through viruses that killed a third of the whole population, an ice age, massive world wars, and currently people (in 1st world countries with great affluency) are...what...entitled? Oh dear lord the humanity! How shall we ever preservere?

Sack up bronco. There's nothing special about yours or the generation below yours. Same old record spinning. Mankind has always been full of some pretty crappy folks. What's new?

I took his point as society always seems to be crumbling. It’s kind of like marriage—it seems like a good idea at the start, then it’s a slow fade through perpetual disappointment.

I kid. I’m actually in a great relationship, and I’m optimistic about the future. I have kids and I believe in them.

It just occurred to me that we're headed into the season with 2nd highest QB recruit in the land (and honestly prob THE best one, especially for us) sitting on the bench AND a QB returning to a starting position after a history of being exceptionally spotty on accuracy and making one of the worst off-the-bench QB mistakes in recent QB history and yet we're not pining for the 5*. We didn't give Fulmer this much trust in the afterglow of a national title. And what's even weirder is that it doesn't seem odd to me -- it seems right that we trust Heupel and Milton on this. It's just crazy that this scenario has unfolded because I didn't think our fanbase could ever not pine over the backup, let alone the one time we actually do have Peyton Manning the 2nd sitting on the bench.

Of course, I don't really remember us pining for Peyton back then either. We knew we had a great prospect on the bench but freshmen just didn't play barring QB disaster.

Just kinda crazy to think we're in such a good place with a coach for once.

I don’t need to sack up for sh*t, i just offered an opinion from how I see things. Maybe you should sack up and accept others opinions as well? Tough to do from your know it all standpoint I assume

The AZ Cardinals' Offensive Coordinator, Drew Petzing, was the Quarterbacks coach for Dobbs at the Cleveland Browns last year. That has even more to do with it.

Is that from a foreign country only? I use a VPN on my laptop from the U.S., and Youtube TV works fine on my laptop - no issues whatsoever. I wonder if you need to direct your VPN to a U.S.-based server.
