FSU just has to get by Clemson...maybe NC..to get in the playoffs?

Lost to Wake last year and have to play at their place this season. Also @Pitt and @UF, home vs Miami.

Certainly a light schedule, but they aren't so wildly stacked that it will be a cakewalk either. Should be interesting to follow them this season.

Honestly just hope they whip Dabo and yeah I'd be happy if they mix up the playoffs.

It is an insane turn around. He has done it the hard way compared to Heup. Heup competed right away (should have won 9 his first year) and then nearly made the playoffs with half a roster his 2nd season...Norvell built it slowly but surely.

I thought he would do well at FSU, but those first years REALLY made me doubt.

They look big fast and talented all over the field, and the QB is money if given time.

I don't follow LSU closely...do they just not have ANY depth in the front 7? They just got obviously gassed in the 3rd and fell apart...it looked like a completely different defense than the one in the first half.

Kelly appears not to have had them prepared and conditioned. They were horrible on opening night last year too. Whatever he is doing down there off-season, I'm ok with it.

I love DSamp and Matthews, and I would like to load up on more quality guys from the Boot. Remember we put that Rocky Top billboard up in Baton Rouge last year for recruiting.

Looking at their schedule 4-8 looks like their ceiling....

I think Colorado finishes 6-6 or 7-5. Deion gutted that 22 team and then built it back like he wanted. The portal is like a time warp for coaches. They'll be fun to watch this year

Yea a coupe of games I was iffy on , ASU on Road and Arizona couple of pickems but if they start 3-0 then 6-6 is very possible....

That is literally the reason Florida State turned down an offer to join the SEC when they were offered in the peak Bowden years. It's a matter of record. Every game was an auto win. Until they eventually started playing down to the level of competition.

LSU best DLineman didn't play this game. They will be fine but their secondary is very questionable. Don't see them coming out of the west like some think they will. But I do hope they beat Bama.
