Concerns, maybe unfounded, about our offense.

Last year our offense was built on multiple plays from the same offensive looks creating conflict within the opponents defense. We thrived on picking apart defenses.... Save two games..... Which we lost.

Saturday I didn't see a lot of conflict being created.... We had our way with an inferior opponent..... And that's ok. Just wondering how worried should we be with the departure of key offensive staff?
You’re about to get picked apart lmao. Pumpers Incoming.. I trust I trust blah blah. Can’t voice concerns here

None of that matters anymore, Huep kicked their arse last year and brings a more talented team than that to town this year. Florida o-line is sh*t and our d-line is deep. They have a statue at QB and isn’t very deep on defense. Good luck Billy, but it’s likely gonna be a looong night for the Turds. Either way I’m here for it
Florida is just a team that I am conditioned to expect to lose to, even moreso than Alabama since even when we’re better than them on paper, or we had the game won… we usually still lose.

I’ve seen us beat Florida 5 times in my life that I remember. 2001, 2003, 2004, 2016, 2022.

In my life (born 1996), we’ve beaten them 6 total times.

BVS hits me the most when it comes to UF.

Heupel is the key offensive staff. It’s his playbook, and he can take over play calling if he wanted to.

That said, I do find it concerning that we didn’t really try the long ball, or even more concerning if it just wasn’t there. That play has to work for this offense to work. Short dump off passes won’t keep a defense honest, and we play the 3 best defenses in the conference this year.

I wouldn’t read much into it. It looked like Elliot had the defense playing 10 yards off the ball to prevent that from happening. It’s why we kept hitting those screens and running the ball.

I don't think you can judge much from Game 1. And I think we'll be vanilla as possible in Game 2. I think both games are about working out kinks here and there, and giving opposing teams looks at other parts of our game. I think it'll be Florida before we really start to see what we have on offense. And I don't think the departure of Golesh is going to hurt us. Halzle is more than capable with the guidance of Heupel.

Did anyone ever think they would see another time when Tennessee, Colorado, Washington, and Florida State were all good again at the same time?

I’d be fine if Nebraska stays irrelevant

We did go long in the first quarter but Keyton dropped it. Like others have said, we took what their defense was giving us and patiently marched down the field. No reason to press or use the good stuff against a tomato can opponent like UVA.

In closing, screw LSU, particularly all of the swamp trash that sat in front of my family at the 2001 SECCG.

Kelly appears not to have had them prepared and conditioned. They were horrible on opening night last year too. Whatever he is doing down there off-season, I'm ok with it. 😂

I love DSamp and Matthews, and I would like to load up on more quality guys from the Boot. Remember we put that Rocky Top billboard up in Baton Rouge last year for recruiting. 😂
Probably needs to stop "Mint Julip Mondays" a month earlier.

After watching this game and a bunch on sat it appears the clock rule doesn’t seem to hurt fast paced offenses and really hurts regular offenses.

You can see in this game LSU has no chance to come back.

Fast paced offenses still get there plays in. Normal offenses don’t.

But the amount of commercials really sucks.
And this is hilarious, because Saban thought he was so smart wanting to shorten the games, and it is going to backfire on him!

I suspect CJH called a vanilla game against a team he knows we can manhandle.

Good Lord, have mercy. We blow out a P5 school on a week that we're the only SEC school to beat a P5 school, and there are concerns about the offense.

BVS is a powerful drug.
