I loved that CJH had our punter's back when asked. Something to the effect of "Imagine playing a brand new game for the first time, in front of thousands of people, after moving to a new country to do it. He'll settle in. i have complete faith in him."I'm a big fan of the rugby punt (when you aren't shanking it out of bounds). Or a traditional line drive punt that rolls.
It just takes the returner out of the game and often ends with 20-30 yards of extra roll.
Can I use your espn+ for Saturday please? Is anyone else having trouble with their ESPN app on iPhone? When I click to play a game, it just comes up a white screen. I tried deleting the app and reloading, and it won’t even let me try to put my TV provider login info in, just goes back to that white screen.
ESPN+ stuff is playing just fine.
Lol...sounds familiar..except Botch actually almost accomplished some things so we had reason for having a little hope until the second half of 2016 showed him for the fraud he wasAlso, popped into The BigSpur SC football forum. What a delusional bunch that is. From a meltdown yesterday (reality) to multiple threads extolling Shane as the right guy who is destined to build an empire at SC, if they'll just give him time. Hold out for 6-8 wins this season and wait a few years for him to flip the roster.
Bob the Borer has to go.Anyone else notice the football highlights from the Kesling era rarely feature Bob's call? It's almost always the TV broadcasters.
Rant incoming:
Kesling's got to be around 70 yrs old (not that there's anything wrong with that) and he's on his 24th season calling TN games. I know there's never going to be another John Ward and I've tried through the years to like Bob. My problem with him, he continues to fail to capture the mood of the football team and historical moments. He can't help it, he's suited to be a TV sports anchor. (To me, Mike Keith should have got the job in 1999. I'm not a huge Mike Keith fan but I think he would have been a great follow up to Ward.) I'm just hoping Kesling will retire soon. His broadcasting style no longer matches the product on the field. Everything surrounding the program feels alive and exciting and the "Voice of the Vols" should match that intensity.
End rant
