It always amazes me that people make judgements about teams or coaches or players based on one game. The first game no less. Shoot, some make those judgements after one half. You'd think they'd learn better.I don't think you can judge much from Game 1. And I think we'll be vanilla as possible in Game 2. I think both games are about working out kinks here and there, and giving opposing teams looks at other parts of our game. I think it'll be Florida before we really start to see what we have on offense. And I don't think the departure of Golesh is going to hurt us. Halzle is more than capable with the guidance of Heupel.
It's awsome to see these quotes coming from a coach not in pantone 151Yep, UF is in trouble. . .
Billy Napier isn’t accepting defeat. On Monday, the Florida head coach revealed his mindset following the Gators’ 24-11 loss to Utah on Thursday.
“I’m committed to not getting used to [losing],” Napier told the press. “I’m not joking when I say that, you know? I think I asked the team yesterday, I said, ‘What motivates you?’ And I think for me, seeing the players get the reward from the work is motivating.
“But, it’s also just as motivating to watch them have to go through the difficulty of losing, right? Knowing what I’ve observed for a very long time, if that makes sense, right? So, sometimes as a leader, it’s not about me. It’s more about the rest of them, my players in particular.”
I'm ready for new blood. Keith is staying in Nashville. Wouldn't mind Wilkerson , but other than that, find someone new.Anyone else notice the football highlights from the Kesling era rarely feature Bob's call? It's almost always the TV broadcasters.
Rant incoming:
Kesling's got to be around 70 yrs old (not that there's anything wrong with that) and he's on his 24th season calling TN games. I know there's never going to be another John Ward and I've tried through the years to like Bob. My problem with him, he continues to fail to capture the mood of the football team and historical moments. He can't help it, he's suited to be a TV sports anchor. (To me, Mike Keith should have got the job in 1999. I'm not a huge Mike Keith fan but I think he would have been a great follow up to Ward.) I'm just hoping Kesling will retire soon. His broadcasting style no longer matches the product on the field. Everything surrounding the program feels alive and exciting and the "Voice of the Vols" should match that intensity.
End rant

Did they get their marijuanas from @TrippieRedd ?Ok. So inviting the Klubniks over was a huge mistake. They showed back up after going to the hospital and I caught them on the driveway camera smoking the marijuanas and trying to break into my car. I am beginning to think they might not be the national treasures that ESPN has made them out to be.
What the what?!?Yep, UF is in trouble. . .
