I knew this team was special, just because of what they were doing and where we've been over the years. I just don't think we'll really understand how good this season was until years pass by.

Can we all agree that Joe Milton is the guy going into next year. He isnt the QB we saw in early 2021.

It might feel bitter sweet to some but we did what we have been striving for, to be truly back. Tonight cemented it we really are back!!! I haven’t felt this good in many years about this program. Go Vols!

I am huge fan of Joe Milton.

But I believe the coaches will have an open competition for the QB1 spot in the Fall.

Just imagine if Nico is good enough to win it.

I would happily ride with Joe. But I think Nico is going to be special. Like you can't keep him off the field special.

He seems to be plenty accurate on everything but the deep ball...and he even hit those consistently when he came in late in games with no pressure on him. I still think if the coaches limit his chances to throw deep early in the game and give him a lot of 10-15 yard throws, then he'll settle into the game and be more accurate on the deep shots.

I feel like my assessment above was proven in this game. Joe's a little amped up early on...just let him settle into the game. Honestly, Clemson played to stop the deep ball early and it forced the offense to be patient. I think that actually helped Milton. A few early overthrows would've hurt his confidence and then he probably would've struggled. He can play even better, but I like our odds with another offseason for Milton and guys like Nico and Tayven on the roster.
