Either that or we don’t see a lot we like in the portal. I just hope we aren’t late on these guys. Schools are tampering and dudes know where they’re going when they enter. At least the top guys

My family could use some prayers for peace and comfort. My wife's grandmother is 96 and has been in a nursing home for several months now. They just verified today that she has been having a series of strokes and at least one more serious stroke. They have started her on Morphin, so not sure how much longer she has. This is my wife's last remaining grandparent and it is hitting her pretty hard.

Praying. God's will for your family and a special touch from Him for your wife.

We were 127 in pass defense, UNC was 121. We sure we want any of their guys? Seems like a push.

Tony grimes struggled quite a bit…. He does have potential but depends on how the staff views him.

I’m sure. I just wish there was more info on what we’re doing, who were after, like we see other teams have. I don’t think that’s asking too much.

DW likes to keep it inside the facility…. We didn’t know about the tight end until right before he made it official….I don’t think our numbers at any position is desperate by any stretch of the imagination….. any player added from this point forward needs to be a top end player that can get us to the next level.

With KKeith coming into the RB room that is comprised of Small, Sampson and Dylan there, w/ Whitehead and Thomas in the portal.

(4) is a tiny number of RB's to have to begin the season.

Who is the insider this week w/ RB addition insight?

That means we have back ups that are probably ready step into those positions…. That is really not losing that many guys.

We were a solid 40 spots better than them efficiency wise...so yeah probably not. Unless they're young and room to grow. Or maybe the sole AT/Theo on a still meh pass defense. Those guys exist too and I'd be ecstatic for a Theo type or 2 for next season

Sampson and Dylan will both be really good, but doubt they even rush for over 1,500 combined only 1,400 if I had to guess...

I’m not impressed by many of the portal options myself this first window. Maybe there will be more quality over quantity in the post bowl-game window

Yes, Coach RG called him one of the most talented d-lineman he's coached. High praise, probably still getting use to playing on the line and weighing 300lbs. Would not be surprised if he a Tyree West explode next season.

Don't think we are too impressed with any defensive guys in the portal as of now. Not sure any of anyone in there is a MUST get at the moment. There will be more portal guys after bowl games and this window is open until January 18th. We have time to be patient.
