They should keep the early signing period only for players that are EEs.

I think it would be better to have all of it after the seasons over, including portal opening,

So I am curious. When are we to believe a high school kid? Because we have seen recruits say oh it’s not about the money or if it was about NIL I would have chosen TN. Now I have seen people say players who say stuff like that are lying. But now we are just to take TL at his word? Interesting.

He was in college and on the stage of playing for a NC. The subject of his childhood fandom of another program was broached and that was his answer. Replicated by another talented star on the team who DEFINITELY “fit the system”. Just don’t understand the desperation by some of our fans to spin this recruiting failure worse than it’s reality. Both Lawrence and Etienne were long time fans of the Tennessee program, and after visiting Butch and his staff didn’t want to be a part of it. Same program that recruited and signed Quentin Dormady and Will McBride brought TREVOR LAWRENCE in for a visit to expressly inform him that he “didn’t fit the system”? I gotta believe a star lied to believe that? Pass.
