This is such a Tennessee type of thing to happen. It repeats itself every year across almost every sport. Heck even the NFL.

Tennessee reaches Top 5-10 level across multiple sports. Has a game they “should” win and somehow loses it in a crucial situation rinse and repeat. Entire state is cursed

The game was officiated pretty evenly although they were certainly swallowing that whistle in the last few minutes. Can't win missing so many gimmies. Just a minor bump in a good season. We'll whip that azz if we're matched up in the SEC tourney.

I counted 7 missed layups total. But you’re probably right about 5 being uncontested
