Since we have nothing better to talk about, I crunched some Rick Barnes numbers.

In the 61 years from 1936 to Barnes' arrival in Austin, Texas Basketball was a combined 948-691 (.578) with 4x S16, 2x E8, and 2x F4.

In Rick Barnes' tenure, spanning 16 years, his record was 402-180 (.691) with 2x S16, 2x E8, 1x F4.

Since Barnes' departure (7 years), Texas is 131-98 (.572) with 0 significant NCAA finishes.

From 1936 to Barnes' arrival in Knoxville, Tennessee Basketball was 1324-826 (.615) with 5x S16, and 1x E8. [It is a peculiarity the Vols have more wins with fewer postseason finishes than Texas].

Since Barnes has arrived, 150-81 (.649) and 1x S16.

I think it's fairly easy to state he's the best coach in Texas history. He's close to surpassing Pearl at Tennessee imo. He's in his 8th year, Pearl had 6. Pearl had a higher winning percentage (.704) and an E8 appearance. Time will tell if CRB's body of work passes that.

I’m 59 years old and weigh what I did in high school. That wasn’t always the case. I made the lifestyle choices of giving up sodas (they’re disgusting), don’t eat fast food, there’s a reason why it’s so cheap. I really started watching what I was putting in my body. If you do it right, your body will go through a cleanse every two weeks of getting rid of the impurities.

Words of wisdom. I'm 76 and weigh 183, same as when I got out of college. I use smaller dinner plates and eat less.

That way I can eat all the chocolate ice cream I want for dessert.
