I'm ridiculously impressed with Dobbs' work ethic. School's been out just a few days and he's already back out grinding with Ryan Jenkins and his QB coach.

Hard not to root for a kid like that. Check the video.

Kid just needs better grip or bigger hands or something. The ball never looks good coming out when he throws it. I'm sold on every other aspect of his game.

Kid just needs better grip or bigger hands or something. The ball never looks good coming out when he throws it. I'm sold on every other aspect of his game.

He was throwing bullets in the spring game. I'm not sure I've noticed the same thing, but either way it doesn't seem to be affecting his arm.

I'm probably gonna get crucified for this, but has anyone else ever thought it would look awesome to see this on one side of the football helmets with the Power T on the other?

I've always loved the Tennessee state tri-star logo, and this seems like another prime chance to stick it to the dorks on West End. Keep in mind the Power T would be on the other side.

I think it would look funny. But I think it would be cool to use it somewhere else. Like maybe the logo on the pants or something

He threw some weak passes last year during games. He didn't look great throwing the ball down the field.

Of course he was fresh out of highschool.

I have been pleased by what Ive seen in his progression this year.

I didnt see the whole game, just the highlights. I didnt see any bullets. Everything from the highlights were deep balls and a screen that kind of lobbed to Pickett

Would be cool as a small decal on the back, IMO. The side would make me think of the Stillers (barf).

Anyone know why we stopped using thick numbers? The unique font for names (below)? Was it a NCAA uniform rule change?

Watch the highlights again. The TD pass to Malone at 0:50 is the definition of a bullet and the pass to Malone at 3:00, while too long to be a bullet, comes off his hand with tremendous velocity. Enough velocity that it's noticeably faster than the long ball Worley also threw on the highlights.

Just watched it again. It looked good, but I could see some noticeable drop on it. I guess you could call it a bullet. But I did notice he threw a screen to Malone that was a def bullet.

Other than the Pickett screen, did Dobbs throw to anyone else other than Malone?

Agreed, and Dobbs won the skills competition. He has been putting in work!
