As a side note, I think the SEC East is wide open right now. I'm feeling really strangely confident going into this season. Like I keep trying to convince myself that we're gonna struggle, but there's nobody in the East right now that scare me.

Georgia was suppose to destroy us last year and it didn't happen. They know they belong beneath us. We just have to do our part and give them a chance to choke in that game. Florida and South Carolina are talented, but am I truly scared of them? No shot. We have an opportunity to put on a show this year. I mean, Butch does supposedly get it, ya know? He's as impatient as anybody. Why not us? Why not now? Missouri? Vandy? Kentucky? Naw, naw and naw. All the pressure is on everybody else.

6 days til some real football begins! Let's shock the world. I believe in Team 118.

Just read this. I don't like butting heads with people, but I don't disrespect people and I don't really appreciate the disrespect from other people aimed at me.

My only statement was basically "I dont understand what he just said."

Wow! I think this off-season is the worst yet for Georgia. Flame away, but I am going to go ahead and go on record to call this one… Butch gets his first huge SEC road win against Georgia on September 27. That program is in shambles, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

I have been thinking this too. Would be awesome to go into the Florida game at home 3-1 riding the confidence of the big UGA road win and payback from last season.

Seriously though, I think the young aspect is overrated. As long as you have experience in certain key spots and good leadership on the field I don't think it's that big of a deal.

I have been trying to temper mine as well, but there are just too many bad things occurring within the Georgia program very close to the start of fall camp. I think it ends up being bad momentum for them, and will really hurt the chemistry of that team. They have lost too many important pieces on the defensive side of the ball, and they have a new defensive coordinator to boot. I think we get redemption on the road this year for the heartache last year.

Just 6 wins minimum... That's all we need to sustain momentum on the recruiting trail. Throw in a huge road win against Georgia, and then we will be cooking with grease!

Unless Gurley is injured again, I just don't see it. You're right though, their defense is in shambles from all the off field stuff. I think their entire starting secondary is gone, not some front 7 guys.

The Vols have reason to go into the UGA game with some confidence. If its close in the 3rd quarter anything can happen. Of course the Vols could jump on them out of the gate and we have some experience in knowing how that can turn out.
