I stand firm on 7 Wins and unlike Dooley,we will upset a couple of top 25 teams.

I don't get how people are assuming we can't win against Uga or uscjr. We were close with Uga and beat uscjr. We've played both of them close the last few years even though they were top 10 in the country. One of them could go down this year. We all lost a lot of experience and/or production.

Like I said before, for ever freshman all sec player, we have another 0.5 win past 5 wins.

I agree. I give us a decent shot at both. Hurts some that they're both away. But still. I think we have a shot. The S Car love is ridiculous. O-Ver Rate-Ed. Clap Clap Clap-Clap-Clap

Even this board is infected with some Lou Holtz' discipleship when It comes to Carolina.

I would rather have the win over OU than UF for 4 reasons.

(Not in order)
1. To shut up Stoops
2. A big road win
3. Start the season 3-0
4. Beat a top 10, possible top 5 team.

I can't agree with you here. While those are good reasons, staying in the hunt for an SEC championship trumps them all. Of course there is no reason we can't just beat them both. :)

I'm with you. It seems like people in the media assume so much. I know a pretty great deal about Tennessee. But I don't assume we are going to lose to anybody, including Bama and Oklahoma. I also don't assume we are going to blow out Utah State and Arkansas State. I sure hope we do. But the same tendency in me that feels like we can find a way to win any game on our schedule also works against me that same way. Anything is possible in sports. I've seen it too many times to ever ignore that the crazy is always in play.

That's pretty much why I hate betting on games. In theory it seems so fun. But I think way too consistently critical to ever trust my own gut enough to put money on something like a college football game. Especially if Tennessee is playing. Good grief, I already feel the weight of the world on my shoulder during games, Lord knows I don't need any additional pressure.

I have now rambled and lost focus of my original point.

Wait. Go Big Orange. That was it.

Worley sounds like he's the starter. Like he's not even worried about it.

I loved how he jumped in so quick to defend the offensive line. He carries himself a whole lot different than he did a couple years ago. Lately I have felt weirdly good about him being our quarterback this season. Today's interview did nothing but reinforce that.

Worley certainly looks and talks like he is the starter. Poor Peterman, it's almost like they have to throw him a pity question.

Drew Smily, Nick Franklin, and a minor league SS.
Just saw that. Funny interview last night with Price after the game. Reporter asked about the possibility of a trade and Price replies "well I guess I'll be here since the deadline passed at 4 PM today." Reporter tells him it's tomorrow at 4, Price says well I guess I should keep my phone with me on the golf course tomorrow."

I'd kinda prefer not playing them too. But by that point hopefully we'll have so much speed on defense that their option won't give us too much trouble.
