I hope we get reports coming out of.tonight's scrimmage.

I think news will be hard to come by as media is not attending.

Don't worry he'll transfer according to some folks. :) kid is too good for himself right now. :)

Yea not sure why everyone in the FF were freaking out. What they do I guess. According to the coaches last week was tough on a lot of freshman with practice, late/early meetings, finals to study for and papers to write. I think there will be much more focus the next few weeks. Nothing to freak out about.

The entire offensive staff should apologize to Peterman for that gameplan they had for him in last year's Florida game . You don't come out winging the ball around in a guys 1st career start in the swamp. Especially after the Defense just provided a spark.

First Snap on offense was a fumble by Peterman/Neal

We must have watched a different video. Worley was behind or too far ahead on almost every throw I saw in those short ones on the practice 8 video.

Peterman was good, but Worley was fine. I only remember an overthrow on one long pass and one or maybe two bad medium passes. Out of the number that were shown, Worley wasn't that inaccurate.

The problem with Peterman has never been his arm strength, mechanics, etc.

It's been his decision making

And the fact the he seemed absolutely terrified to be playing against UF in the Swamp last year.

Gotta be tough to get your first career start on the road in one of the most hostile environments in college football against a healthy UF defense when you know your family and friends are watching (and probably in attendance).

I think in his case, every mistake just compounded and by the time he got hurt, his head was spinning. If he had completed a few short passes right off the bat, he probably would have done much better. The offensive gameplan for that game was atrocious.

I saw what JAallen saw. Worley only had 1 bad throw. The others were nicely thrown balls.

Jay you a big fan of Peterman? I know you probably followed him through high school since he's from Florida

I am still all up in my head about this. If the scheme is a short passing game because of a developing OL then I guess the QB is key. If Land, Hurd & company get going maybe not so much so.

Peterman has looked most consistent in the pieces of practice we see. Dobbs not even close to Worley or Peterman in practice.

And yet Dobbs looked pretty good in the O&W game and against Kentucky.

I think he'll be fine once the season starts.

Not really

just not a fan of how bad he was hung out to dry and then him becoming the scapegoat for the Gator debacle.

But I do hope he gets a chance, from what I've seen so far, I want to see what he can do.

That day of rest looked like it helped Worley a lot. He looked much better today. Peterman is still showing out. Dobbs looks like he needs a day off. He looked terrible today.

Worley and Peterman looked more solid than they have.

Dobbs looked meh on those first passes but they were also pushing him with those pads pretty hard - I think they're trying get him to just throw the ball because they're giving him more distractions to deal with but right now it's just frustrating him. They'll keep that up until he has his breakthrough and starts relying on his instincts more. He did the best on the rollouts, imo.

Just based off of that clip Peterman and Worley have seperated themselves from Dobbs.

They gave Peterman a mental coach of some kind to help him overcome the UF game. It appears to be working. But really I'm not handwringing over any of our QBs. We'll be fine, imo.

Peterman froze when the lights came on. He looks the best versus no rush. He didnt command the offense in Florida game and it was obvious as the entire team looked out of sync like they didnt know what to do. Worley can get everyone lined up so its why he will start. Until peterman and Dobbs learn to control the huddle and make faster decisions they will be on bench.

I thought last year at this time that Peterman was better suited with his skill set to run the offense that Butch runs. Starting him at UF did NOT go as planned, but I still think he can play.

I don't know if he can get the job done or not but it was his first start on the road in the Swamp. Far from ideal.
