Rucker wrote an article on 247, titled, "Tennessee is Coming." Rucker isn't always complementary of the Vols, but this article is great for the folks that like some "Big Orange" sunshine!
One comment, from a 247 poster, that I particularly enjoyed was this one:
I got 2 text Saturday night from 2 Georgia alum friends in Atlanta. They are also football junkies. The first said, "We got lucky today," the other said, I'm not sure the better team won." "You guys are gonna hurt somebody this season." Da**, we gotta play you guys up there next year." "How many freshman were out there?" I can't wait till noon this Saturday! These kids are believing and Worley's becoming a forth quarter wizard. These guys believe he can do anything. That makes for a dangerous team. Glad it is my team!

I have to sit here and put a Boston Butt on the smoker for about 8 hours. Then I have to drink beer with my father-in-law.

Then I have to watch my beloved Vols destroy the gators while I eat bbq sandwiches all day.

If it is true Major Depression (as you said chemical imbalance) stay on the meds. That does not go away. Biggest mistake is people thinking that they are "cured". It can be corrected/controlled with meds, but it does not go away.

You are right in your earlier post about how great this community is. I am not the type to talk about my problems with people. Early in my life I decided that I would be the rock of my family when the stream of life becomes a raging river. I would be the one that would swallow his feelings and put a smile on everyone in the room full of tears. You can imagine what 11 years of that can do to your mind. When you add on top of that me being the "Golden Child", the one with the 140+ IQ, the one that is charismatic, the one who is funny, the one who will be a doctor, the one who will be a politician... So much stress has been piled on me. To say I need this mediation and God's Grace would be an understatement. I have gotten so much better over the last half year though. I mean I'm actually able to admit to all this stuff to an online community when I wouldn't even talk to my mom about it before.

I could go into prose about the impact that faith has had in my life, but I think this post is a little tl;dr already. Another story for another day. God bless you all for the responses and the outpouring of love. I'll make it through this, but I sure as hell hope that I come out the other side with her by my side.

Give her the space...the more you try to fix something...the worse you wreck it...biggest mistakes I've made have been due to that...if she's the one for you, she'll work out the issues WITH YOUR HELP...but she has to want it...stay active...don't mope or grieve over something that hasn't died...stay strong! You're one of the good ones...if she's meant for you? She'll see that.
