Our marketing and media folks, have always been great but with Jones they've really got something and someone to work with. We've captured the 'cool factor' that A&M had with Manziel but we've been much smarter about how we've done it. Instead of making it out about player, we've made it about our university, our program, and our coaching staff. That's branding that will last long after a player is gone.

Per VQ, Josh Smith will not play Saturday. Von is listed as questionable. However, he is still wearing the walking boot. He has not practiced since the injury.

Lane and Michael Williams were in green non-contact jerseys. With Lane out, Derrell Scott got a lot of reps. VQ called his most practice work to date.

Running Backs worked on pass protection as they know the OL will have their hands full with Bullard and Fowler.

Matt Darr had a very productive day.

Fortenberry said he's hearing that Micah Abernathy and Matthew Burrell will OV this weekend for the UF game. He will try to confirm but it's looking good right now.

If the OL can give Worley time, we should win without too terribly much trouble.

But you gotta think Muschamp and crew have watched the Oklahoma and UGA games and will be blitzing all game long.

If Pearson can come back that would be a huge huge boost.

His elbow/arm got skinned - it was bloody. That's why he's wearing a sleeve. It's an injury but not one that should effect his ability to throw. Just one that's probably still raw.

IMO, it's not a huge loss. We put 30+ points on UGA in Athens.... And that was with 3 Peterman possessions and 2 TOs.

We've shown we can move the ball and put points on the board without those guys. Would it be nice to have them? Hell yeah. But I think we take care of business without those 2 regardless.

I agree, we need another big games out of Jason Croom and Pig Howard.

I think you'll see some new wrinkles to the offense. With Lane not 100% and Scott getting extensive work, I bet you see a couple packages for him.

I'm ready to see what Derrell can do.

Their secondary does. They have some NFL talent in that front 7 though.

Ray Drew, Jordan Jenkins, Amarlo Herrera, Leonard Floyd, and Ramik Wilson will all play on Sundays.

Their backend is garbage. If Swann is your #1 CB then lol.... they have a converted RB playing safety.
