Couldn't score more than kicks off those TOs. I'm just glad we eventually found the endzone. It gives me some hope that this terrible offense can graduate from godawful to just bad.

That and JG and Chandler seem to be coming along which makes me feel like next season won't be a total bust.

Enlightening interview with Currie on Vol Calls. As SBV has said dude is measured and methodical. Focused on support of players. Game to game atp imo.

Hyams said Butch will be fired after his next loss. Thought that was interesting.

I believe there is a lot to sale about the opportunity at Tennessee to Frost or other prospective HCs. Just a few...
-aggressive contracts for HC and staff
-the continually improving in-state talent
-aggressive recruiting budget
-AD’s absolute support (this is his most important hire/decision)
-recent facilities upgrades at UT
-planned renovations to Neyland
-the storied history of this program with passionate and committed fans pleading for someone to lead this team back to a being competitive in the SEC
-resources such as Manning, Fulmer, Gruden and many, many VFLs, inlcuding existing and former NFLers who are hungry to assist in returning UT to its former glory.

Plus, I would assume there will an extended celebration for the 100th anniversary of Neyland Stadium. The new HC will be the face of the program for this and other major events over the next few years.

JMO, but, despite recent performances, I believe there’s as much or more to sale at UT right now as the vast majority of college programs, including UF. The next successful coach here will be an instant legend.

I'm not sure UF is the better job anymore. Our recruiting footprint has more talent than ever and our in-state talent has grown significantly. You can only sign 25* (technically). We wrote the book on recruiting nationally and now you see the powerhouses like BAMA following that model of pulling from everywhere. There's been nothing wrong with our recruiting class ranks.

Yes, you can put together a team using only Florida players but that would be incredibly stupid and it's definitely not the model Meyer used when he was there.

That said, UF is perceived as the better job and perception matters but UF also just sent up a giant red-flag with this 'for cause' nonsense. Do you want to work for someone who agrees to pay you x amount and then suddenly decides to engage in shady tactics to avoid paying you?

That statement should SCARE US ALL TO DEATH.
We all very much doubt that it will happen, but what if there are no more losses this season.
It’s possible that we beat USM, MU, LSU, VU.
very, very unprobable, but possible..

But, if Hyams is saying a 7-5 record brings Butch back in 2018, that is horrible. He should be gone now!

He's not winning out. Even if he did, he's not going to be here in 2018. It's over.

There's plenty of REAL things to be scared of...like SUPER AIDS.

No, he's going to be fired regardless. Hyams said they'd love to finish the season 7-5 and then part ways but Currie will pull the trigger after the next loss if one comes.

THey aren't getting Forst. All Florida fans are doing is pushing Nebraska to make the move earlier through back channels. I know they are desperate for Frost, but they should have shutten up so it doesn't force other schools to make a move to lock him up.

He will take the Nebraska offer.

Well he’s def gone by LSU then. Probably Missouri. At that point though do they put an interim in with only two games left?
