No clue if he was the one that brought him back in.

I was referencing the supposed friction from Currie bucking Snyder when he's pushing his hilariously unqualified son as HC in waiting, and Snyder pushing for an insanely expensive Equestrian program because of his granddaughter when it was time for KState to add a new women's sport.

Former Vol Antone Davis said he submitted his letter of resignation Oct. 31 as VFL coordinator after six years because he endured “constant intimidation, bullying and mental abuse’’ from Tennessee coach Butch Jones.

Davis made those comments in an Oct. 31 email to UT athletic director John Currie, obtained by Sports Radio WNML.

Davis told Currie that “I had always dreamed of coming back and being able to contribute to the continued success of the athletic program.’’

Davis said that working under Jones “has been one of the worst work experiences I have ever had."

Big Jim does not live across the street from Cherokee. I don’t know about Jimmy. The President does not live on Cherokee either. Perhaps you’re thinking of the Williams house that was willed to the university but never lived in.

Butch Jones reputation continues to be dragged through the mud.

How does keeping him benefit he or Tennessee? Letting him go after Scar would have been better for both sides.

5020 is owned by Jimmy.

There is a huge house right down with a ton of acreage. I found an old article that made it sound like the prez lived there. UT owns it. My assumption was the president lives there. Does that thing just sit empty?

I think that's because it was "old news" in the Gruden thread and on VQ. It was mentioned weeks ago he was buying a house in Knoxville. So that excitement was many many roller coaster rides ago. Non believers like to say it's just him buying a house for his son or it's a retirement home for his wife to be close to family but that he still isn't going to take the job.

And the most interesting part of that house story is that apparently the house he bought wasn't even on the market and was owned by none other than Haslam.

Disappointed in AD not taking the high road. Nothing good comes from airing out dirty laundry when leaving a job.

Antone is a good guy. He's a source for a couple of posters on this board.

Butch asked him to do some sketchy stuff, Antone declined, and he was blacklisted.

I'm telling yall, there's more of this stuff about Butch. He treats people like dogs behind the scenes.

I understand what you are saying, but if Butch Jones is a piece of garbage and you know it, a resignation letter is not a wrong place to note that as part of why you are leaving. IMO.
