Is Gruden coming to the game this weekend?

I have not been able to confirm it and I have been trying for a couple of weeks. I'm still trying this afternoon as I know it's surfaced again on Twitter. I was told end of last week they Gruden wasn't coming to the game. But 7 days is like 7 years right now with all that's going on, rumored, etc.

Actually yes. He could have fired him weeks ago. And how do you know what the boosters will do? And again, if it’s so clear that Butch is out, why didn’t Davis stay on at TN? No he left. I don’t think it is as clear as a lot of you guys want to believe. And then the guy from KState saying it’s still possible if Butch wins 2 more games. Everything is burning down and Currie still hasn’t done anything. I haven’t seen anything from Currie that makes me believe for certain that he wants to fire Butch.

Easy to pile on a guy who is already on the chopping block. It will be unfortunate if more and more stuff like this comes out, true or not true, because this actually has the ability to hurt the perception of the job.

I think Currie told him no extension and this would be his last season with the VOLS. It was up to Butch to win and get a decent job elsewhere, but this is going to hell to the point where Currie may be able to fire him with cause.

That is a good point, of course, there is an article on 247 about how top ranked targets and commitments are going to be attending the game tomorrow. So I’m not sure recruiting has stopped. Butch probably stopped tweeting because he’s tired of the comments on every post
