I think Gus Malzon and Chip Kelly are the same guys. One found out he had to change and his style couldn't work anymore in the SEC. I am hoping Chip is too arrogant to do so.

I don't get when people say "chip Kelly's offense wouldn't work in the sec", "Scott frosts offense wouldn't work in the sec"......

These guys aren't Butch Jones. They are smart enough to adjust their offense. They aren't so stubborn that they think they don't need to self evaluate and evolve.

He never adjusted to NFL and why he's unemployed right now.

Has he learned from that? Only time will tell.

Especially considering every SEC team runs some variation of the spread lol. Georgia probably being the closest to a "traditional" offense

His wife is Cindy’s cousin. He’s said for awhile UT was going after him and he believed he would coach next fall but thought it might be NFL. Then a few days ago he said Gruden agreed to be next coach at UT.

Just caught up in the gruden thread. Basically the same as in here. They also about wet their pants at the smile from Currie and the search firm part. Skeeter made an appearance but didn’t really say anything, was just responding to a post that we weren’t committed to winning. Other than that, nothing. I’m hoping to see some info and reactions come out tonight from guys like JAV, LWS, etc though.

It's not the spread it's the pace. It stopped working for Auburn because their Defesne just couldn't keep up. It won't work at Florida either.
