I am a pessimist by nature, some of the things guys on this board piece tighter I am I never feel the same way.

In this instance, there is absolutely no way Jon Gruden says that in that interview about Rocky Top if he isn’t coming.

I’m a people person, and Jon Gruden knows what this means to Volnation. No way he would openly on the radio f with Volnation.

This is actually the first time I have ever been convinced it actually is happening.

I also think Bama as an”job or program” is overrated now. It’s all about the coach. If saban comes to TN were a top 3 program in 2 years.

And vice versa

If Michigan hires another dud they wouldn’t be top 10 or whatever anymore.

And to be fair, however much we disagree with him, it's still a problem.

Even if we think we're a top flight program in the conference, in the nation's eyes we're a has-been. The recruits watch ESPN; the national narrative is that we're not elite anymore.

All the more reason to crush this hire and bring us back.

So, with Trey Wallace's tweet and LWS, basically, we've done everything we can do, it's up to Gruden. If he says thanks but no thanks, then we need to not freak out.

So, he's been in Tampa with the power guys and Currie. He tells those guys in Seattle he doesn't want to talk about the Bleacher report nonsense, coaching search, and then starts talking about Rocky top, driving that dude crazy to ask the question.

He says he loves Knoxville and the VOLS fans--- he would be the biggest troll ever to do that. Meanwhile Finebaum told that dude that the producer from MNF went from NO way, to maybe in a few days on Gruden leaving.

Interesting that Grant Ramey is in on it with Brice. Ramey works for 247, and 247 depends on the AD for access. Brice can report anything he wants, but Ramey can't necessarily.

Does that mean we are about to get an answer? Now it's officially official that Currie and UT brass are going after Gruden.
