College football is big money. A good to great team rakes in bookoos of money for that school. A great FB team equals a very profitable school equals a very prosperous community. Its a win win to make it the best it can be if you possibly can.

I can not fathom why the Haslams, in all of their "power, riches, and glory" would not want to hire the best football coach money could buy.

Corruption, ineptitude or both. Has to be.

Look at the browns. That’s what we’ve become. Not sure what the motivation is. But it follows the same pattern that keeps being repeated

Now that we have audio of Haslam teaching how to defraud clients of their rebates, how can the University continue to accept donations from them? Would NYU continue taking donations from Bernie Madoff once it was clear he was a fraud? UT needs to distance itself from House Haslam as soon as possible. Why isn't that happening?

I would think it would be a big embarrassment for the business school.

Someone on r/CFB posted and said that the Tennessee stuff reminded him of the Browns. They had no knowledge that they’re owned by the same people. You just have to laugh to keep from crying.

I’m literally begging for an investigative journalist to do some digging on Haslam and the money he funnels through the school...guarantee it’s less than reputable.

All they care about is maintaining their control and influence. The top coaches won't allow that.

I may contact some of the state reps I know who are UT fans this weekend. Be interested to know how the legislature views the abject mismanagement of the state's flagship university.

Make another bad hire, and you start to bleed off fans.

Hire Kiffin, and you immediately dump a bunch of fans.

He's burned too many bridges. It has nothing to do with anyone's opinion of his coaching acumen.
