Currie went to the Bahamas for one of two reasons:

1. He’s celebrating because he knows he is about to be the man in Knoxville.

2. He is enjoying a few days away before his life is tattered by broken Vol fans.

Either way I would’ve went as well.

My first reaction was to be upset about him being down there.

But nowadays there’s really not too much he can’t do there that he could if he were in Knoxville. Anything that could happen with Gruden at this point is either done or in Gruden’s hands by all accounts. Kelly isn’t an option. He can’t formally interview any coaches until probably Friday at the earliest (and Sunday/Monday for most coaches). I’m not sure it’s as big a deal as some have made it out to be.

The most frustrating thing to me about Currie’s trip to the Bahamas is that we haven’t gotten any super secret island Grumors out of it yet.

No. Refs talked and ruled the game over.

I don't think there was enough time for a shot. The announcers were saying .7 sec but they were saying when his foot left the ground. You are allowed one step then shoot or pass. If you take that into account it looked to me like the clock was under .5 sec. Am I right?

I hope you’re right. He’s my #1 want. More than Gruden.

I believe we tried with Gruden & neither parties will say anything to allow Currie to back channel his way to a successful hire.

Curries words : Money will not be a issue.

I've heard Peterson will listen with the right $$$$.

As much as I hate to admit this. We've not been a big time school in a long while and that attracts Chris.

Currie vs the other AD's searching for HC

Man, I hope you're right. Nowhere for him to go but up for the most part.

If there was 0.1 left they should still put it back on the clock and let them try something. Could toss it to the basket and hope for a 3 point play.

There is a rule that says with only certain amount of time left theres is no physical way to get a shot off. I'm not sure what that number is. If it's under a certain amount of time then the game/play is over.

I just have a feeling it'll be Peterson.

So, instead of us all saying “have a Grude one”,we will have to say “have a peter, son.”
That ain’t gonna fly.
Not even in Congress or with Irish altar boys.
We ain’t Penn State, for gosh sakes....too soon?

Let’s stick with Grude On!
Soon, please.

OK - I'm through celebrating now. Still have a big smile on my face, though. CRB proving he is the real deal as is the basketball team. Doing it as a "team", not a bunch of individuals wanting the limelight. Going to have to pay a visit to a few know-it-alls in the BB forum. Also - stick it Basilio. Anytime you get a win anywhere on the road against a high ranked opponent with refs helping them - it is a big win. If this team can stay healthy they are going to have a really good 10 man rotation to keep guys fresh without a lot of drop off. Grant Williams is a big deal. Was pleased with Alexander. Productive minutes. Probably Turner's best game as a Vol.

Now find the Barnes equivalent for football and we are good here.

That number used to be .3 seconds (I really wanted to say 10.3 ) that all could be done was a tipped shot. No catch and release at .3 or less. Not sure if that's changed or not.
