I really dont understand the view that Mullen would fail here. Hes done better than Butch Jones while at Mississippi State. Makes no sense to think Mississippi States ceiling is the same as ours, unless folks just have a low view of Tennessee (which perhaps the Mehlenites do).
Lawrence Wright (Florida fan) in the NCAA forum claiming that Kelly is slipping away from the Gators.
I mean seriously, what coach would want a job that its possible to get fired after winning two eastern titles?
Spurrier left because he did didnt feel his accomplishments were appreciated
Urban had a fake heart attack.
McElwain was miserable there.
Or you can go to UCLA and enjoy life.

None of them (except maybe Marlon Humphrey) have pro bowl potential. All are average NFL players at best like Josh Malone and Jalen Reeves-Maybin.
Compare that to Alvin Kamara who will be rookie of the year and a future Hall of Famer when his career ends.
Alabama produces mediocrity.
Tennessee produces GREATNESS.

Id take him over Mullen.

You still in on Gruden? Everyone I talk to say it seems to be dead but they don't know why.
