I think it is one of the names that is not being talked about by the media much anymore. Those names are Gruden, Petersen, and Frost. Gruden is mentioned a little bit by the media, because with all of the rumors, they have to address his name somewhat. Either way, if we land one of those three, we are good to go, and I am all in!

It seems like you just gave yourself a lot of leeway. Lol. I thought you've been staunchly Gruden this entire time and everything else has been for show.

Legitly have heard some troublesome things with he and Butch that got covered up. He was leaving football all together but had talk's with someone inside the university to get him to stay. Football team welcomed him back last week.

Nope, that kid needs to hit the bricks-- he was in street clothes in the stands the other night watching the LSU game instead of sitting on the sidelines with his brothers who were laying it on the line. I am old school-- if that is your team, you stand with your team, not as a spectator in the stands... No thanks.

Fluke year. A season earlier they had only 1 player (Julio Jones) named to the NFL Top 100 players list.

Alabama produces mediocre NFL talent.

Multiple schools like LSU and Georgia have produced better pros for years now.

Whoops wrong roster.

What talent has Tennessee produced recently that you would consider greatness?

Kelly's agent is floating that out to make him look better.

Or, since he's apparently seriously considering UF, he may be floating it to make us look worse, as an unappealing job for a coach, hoping it makes it harder for us to hire a big-time coach.

For the Scott Frost fans:

- Scott Frost (or his agent) reached out to UT AD in late September stating he would have interest should an opening come

- Currie then went to watch Scott Frost coach during the bye week. Not sure if he was allowed official contact but definitely had back channel agent contact.

- Someone that I know that actually speaks to Currie directly on a somewhat regular basis says Currie is all in on Frost and the reason we have not seen a scramble of interviews and news from the AD is not tight lips as much as Currie already having his guy and has kept that to a very tight circle.

- Now that Kelly to UF is all but done the only competing job that would have competed for Frost should be filled very soon

-Nebraska is a non factor from what my friend said. Would be like Peyton coming to coach here. Some people do not want to tarnish their image if things do not work out at their Alma Mater. Right now everyone here LOVES Peyton. Let him have some 6-6 or 5-7 seasons and half the fan base is ready for a lynching. Peyton has said this publicly. The same could be the case for Frost at Nebraska plus we can pay more.

I am 99% sure Frost will be our next Coach as of right now. No one is immune to being wrong and things can and do change but at this point I believe this is all but done. I am very careful about making predictions because I definitely know the ramifications of being wrong on here.

Wasn't that guy all in on Gruden before?

Anyway, Frost would be fantastic, but the timing doesn't make sense. Tennessee - led by Currie - is setting up the big recruiting weekend for Dec 2-3. The same time Frost would be leading his UCF team to play for the conference title.

I don't believe he's going to leave his team hanging like that.

👀

My gut may be right!?

I don’t trust this bcarter guy at all though. One thing to consider, this carter guy is good friends with Ainge and Ainge was saying that Frost is a top target. That’s probably where a lot of his thoughts about it comes from.

No AD worth his salt makes a hire based on or around a recruiting weekend.

He has always said he would have to see it to believe it. He was all in on Gruden in 2012 though. Also, I think Dec. 9th could also another big recruiting weekend if not the main one. That’s the weekend that Alontae Taylor has his official.

I'm not saying he is making a hire solely for recruiting. But my point is that, if Currie "has his guy" and knows the exact timeline, why wouldn't they push the big recruiting weekend out one week longer?

It signals to me that he knows he is going to make the hire next week.

Even though he was welcomed back he still has a ways to go to be with the "boys" again.

I agree but when it eventually comes out you will feel for the kid.
