What CONFERENCE were those teams in again? He can’t sell recruits any better than that? You’re in the SEC and you have a midmajor impact on recruiting, you’re doing something wrong.

Just bc you’re in a P5 doesn’t translate to recruiting well. If that’s the case than UVA, Miss St, Boston College, Washington state, and Iowa State should all be bringing in elite recruits.

I haven't heard much about Petersen, other than he's one of those guys you call to gauge interest. I haven't gotten the sense that he's a real possibility, but he would be a homerun hire. There aren't many of those.

Thanks for the response. I just assumed we didn't have a chance, but LWS dropping his name caused me to move to the edge of my seat a bit. Trying not to get my hopes up too much..

It would. That's another program that could consider Kiffin or Petrino.

Unbelievable to me how people think we're too good for Dan Mullen. Like we're too good to get a quality SEC football coach in here who would just about guarantee us 8-11 wins year in and year out.
