Because he’s just as good or better HC than Mullen and he’s A LOT more fun. Mullen is boring. So if we’re going to be a perennial 8-10 win team at least Mike Leach would make it fun.

He's a funny dude but don't think you can say he's a better coach. Mullen has had better results in the toughest division in college football.

Yup. He was on his way to a big time job until the incident with Craig James kid. I think he’s a better coach than Mullen and like I said a lot more fun. So if we’re aiming for the middle, give me Leach!

The argument that you posed is about recruiting, not the better program. Same base. Honestly, Ole Miss isn't appreciably better than MS State to where you can use that as a crutch.

Not even close to that record lol. Sherrill was .500, and had 4 8+ win seasons and 75 wins in 13 seasons. Dan Mullen has 5 8+ win season, and 69 wins and .600 in 9 seasons. Mullen>Sherrill BY FAR. You were wrong
