I thought that when Dooley was being blown out by Vandy in 2012. Now I’ve endured two more blow out losses to Vandy. I’m not really sure that kind of positivism applies anymore.

I've been having the exact same thought tonight. Sitting there watching that game in 2012, I knew that was rock bottom. It just didn't seem possible for things to get any worse. Now I don't know how far we can fall. We HAVE to make a good hire this time.

I agree, but after seeing what a rebuilding job this team really is I don't think he'd come here....you only get so many shots at the big time, and he's already failed at Texas (although I don't think it was entirely his fault). With all the other jobs available I just don't see why he would come here, that's even if he wants to leave USF right now

If our admin wants to get it right they can make it happen. They burned up all their equity with fans over the last 9 years. Going the cheap route would have been fine if it didn’t end in a total cluster while they fell asleep at the wheel. I don’t wanna hear about how hard it is to hire a coach. Should have thought about that before they let it slip.

Pay enough and sacrifice enough and they will come.

Been out of the loop for a while, but I swear to everything that is holy if we make a s**ty hire, I will black list all the UT admin from flying. I don’t care if I get in trouble at work for it, they will get put on the watchlist and won’t be able to fly anywhere!
