But why has Currie let this happen? It’s not like we could all see this cluster forming as soon as the UMass game. Shoot, some of us have called out Butch for his flaws since day 1.

If Currie can’t land a home run it’s solely on him. He’s had more than enough time to plan and make this thing happen.

I think getting this hire right is more important than the early signing period. If the only options are an underwhelming hire that can come in in time to try and salvage the early signing period or a really good hire that doesn't start until January, give me the really good hire. Of course, I can't speak for anyone else. Some people will be ready to burn **** down if we don't have a hire by this time next week.

Go hire Charlie Strong. We need a man that can get talent back here. Someone that can bring some tackling and discipline. His ceiling is as high as anybody's imo. He will be cheaper and easier to get than any of the names above. Give him a fresh start and an unlimited amount to hire the best staff in the country.

I say this joking but serious at the same time. Bama played with only 3 players in hoops harder and with more purpose than we played tonight. Never seen anything like it but they made a comeback with only 3 players.

We’d win in that scenario. I’ll take Leach over staggers any day. He might not be the most likeable guy, but I dare say there is not a better x’s and o’s guy on offense than Leach.
