Chance that it is someone that no one is talking about in the last 24 hours ? If Currie makes a great hire than he has run an awesome search. I have never seen it so tight lipped from the AD office.

We just have to ride it out right now. There will come a time when the series shifts back to us. And I don't want to be playing Arkansas every year when that happens. I want to soak in every last beat down of those bastards we can get.

Put on more steam man

Bama is the one team that I guarantee will get whoever they want when Saban is done. Whoever the top coach is at that time, they will back up the money truck and hand him the keys to the kingdom.

I’d love to whip them but if they are the reason coaches don’t want to come here (remains to be seen of course) then I don’t want to hold out hope for some future day when the tables turn. I’d rather fix things now by just ditching the series and plan on meeting them every year in the SEC title game, which we would do most years with Arkansas as our rival.

Sorry but to be a top notch football program, we've gotta find a coach that can manage players like Jennings. He's not some anomoly or horrible person. He's a college football player with some issues. Lots of great players have them. They don't have to be angels. But you have to have a coach that can keep players like that engaged and in the program. The goal is to build the best football team, not the best Sunday school class.

Egos are a part of it. Maybe Jennings was too far gone. Sounds like that's possible. But he's also the kind of player that would have died on the field for the Vols to help us win. It's a shame to see a guy like that tossed aside to me.

This is very much truth.

Sounds like a good old fashioned house cleaning needs done in the program, AD and in the media.

JJ is like Da'Rick. Both of them had zero respect for a weak coach who had no clue how to get their best effort. It's hard to fathom how UT could have made three disastrous hires in a row. Multiple administrations have failed at UT.
