It started there but Schiano actually did the same thing to Peyton when he was with the Broncos in the same season. He had his DL launch at the OL feet when Peyton tried to kneel. The end of that game is when Peyton cussed him out. Schiano summed it up to “making his players know that you never quit.” Even Schianos own DL spoke out against it later on.
