Scattered notes from our coaches checklist meeting:
I guess the idea of the fanbase having fun, or shooting for a championship level team isnt that important. It's much more important to just hire somebody that is nice? At least to the Haslams. I guess. But somebody really stern to the players so they don't get in trouble. Someone that shows all of us great respect and is very impressed by Bills fancy gold watch. And also we want them to be blown away by our facilities. Someone who can see the potential for themselves here. Someone who can really make a name for themselves on a stage like this, with all the SEC Network coverage and all that, not to mention someone who is completely enamored with our state of the art training center. Our new coach can really get a good workout in here whenever he wants. All the top programs have one. We are so much like those programs here! And also, and this is really critical, somebody that will absolutely NEVER beat Alabama. No matter what. Or Florida. Sometimes Georgia though if they're having a down year. Those wins are acceptable. Though get real they're just getting better.
We can expect to have stressful contests against Missouri, KY and Vandy on a yearly basis. Those are so fun!
That's kind of become our sweet spot so we need to find a coach that settles in well in these areas.
