Tee would be at the bottom of my list. He's not even a good coordinator yet. Maybe revisit him in four years when we're looking for another new coach.

If Les Miles is actually interested, write the check. I would have been happy with that hire before this ****ing debacle; now, it would be a godsend. I'd even go so far as to say that he's on a very short list of potential hires who would actually rekindle my passion.

In general, I expect this to be a very disappointing hire, possibly even down in the Dooley tier of prospective coaches. And if that's the case, you won't see a lot of me around here for a while. I'm tired of receiving nothing but disappointment and shame from this. It's not healthy. It'll always be the Vols or nothing for me, but right now, nothing doesn't look so bad.

Seriously... that’s the truth. If you’re going to nearly hire someone who has the allegations that Schiano has, there’s absolutely no reason you shouldn’t go after Leach. He won at Texas Tech and got dismissed over some bogus reason and it seems like Craig James just hated him. Then he went to Wash St and has made them relevant. Two programs that he has won at. I bet he would love to coach here. I really think he’s one of the more qualified candidates that would come here.

Funny how VQ has all kinds of opinions and insight now.

Schiano is the only name so far submitted as a candidate that would be worse than what UT just had.

Hoping against hope that UT fails forward somehow with whoever they hire.

That is exactly the truth..money talks..we have it, lots of it, but the idiot Haslam and his puppet want to spend it on buildings instead of coaching. It is criminal stupidity.

How does Kiffin have anything to do with the morals involved in the Schiano situation? How is it even slightly comparable? Just curious. What am I missing?

Just wondering. I hope this doesn't happen

Does anybody think that the Haslam and Currie might hope this stuff dies down and then in lets say late January they try to go with schiano.
I could see this happening esp if TN actually owes him money
