I can only see this happening from a standpoint of equity not law. If Schiano turned down another job or a raise at OSU to take this job, he might have a case. This **** with an MOU being legally binding doesn't make sense to me. Especially if the MOU wasn't finalized by including all necessary signatures.

P.S. I guess it's possible that Schiano could argue that UT acted in bad faith since Bev didn't sign the thing. Seems like a tenuous argument to me.

I don't see the grounds to sue at all. Like you stated, an MOU wasn't signed by all parties so it's not binding. I've heard people say slander but the university said nothing. UT cannot control what a fanbase says.
