Oh look, honey. It's Neyland Stadium. That's where they used to play football.

Just sick. Three good candidates who we could have right now.

Brohm if we’d pay the money (340 mil in renovations but worried about a 5 mil buyout)

Tee Martin would walk here. And he’s cheap! So many positives here also.

Les Miles wants the job. He would instantly be the best or 2nd Best coach in the east.

Yet we’re doing this crap?

We may be witnessing control-freak billionaires throwing a tantrum cause they didn't get their way.

Or, perhaps they've somehow assembled several of the most incompetent administrators in the industry.

Hopefully, this is a concerted effort to shake things up inside UT athletics from the top down. This would be our Christmas Miracle.

Fulmer has to have sympathy for Les. If he could wrangle control of this crap, I bet he would call him.

When both Miles and Richt got fired we said 'damn they were good coaches.. those teams made a mistake" Well just look at Richt at Miami. Ol Miles might just do the same.

Sometimes you can get stuck in a rut if you remain where you are and moving solves it.

Les could pull some good O and D line talent in Louisiana, which is what we desperately need. Skeeter said he may be one that could pull Cade back into the fold... I wasn't on board with him when this wasn't a circus, but now we are in fight or flight mode and I'd take Miles for his stability alone and bet he still can recruit.

But what do I or any normal person who watches football know, we should definitely go with Doeren, a proven winner... wait. NM

He wants the job. I don't care if the boosters feel they can't control him. We're at DEFCON-1 now. There's not going to be anything to control here soon. This is a no-brainer.

Honest question: How dead is this forum going to be if we "trot out" Doeren, Fedora, or...God forbid...Kevin Steele?

I think the FF will chug along but will lose a lot of traffic. This forum and the RF Football Talk threads specifically will move at a snail's pace. I bet at least half of the regulars here will check out and post only occasionally, if at all.

None of us are in the mood right now for your typical dose of sarcastic Smartass, we're in a crisis here... give it a rest. We are all hanging out in the pit of misery and don't need you chiming in.

Never will care what you’re in the mood for...or anything else associated with you. I’m as much or more a Vol fan than you and will conduct myself as I choose.

I loved Doeren’s offensive creativity the past two years.
Admittedly, I Haven’t seen much of his offense prior to 2016.
His DLine really got after it too.
Is he much of a drop off from Brohm? I don’t believe so.
Is he much of a drop off from Taggart/Mullen/Frost... yes.

Incompetence at a level before unknown

Brice has been wrong about plenty. Not sure I necessarily buy this.

Now, we're still incompetent at a level heretofore unknown, so it doesn't really matter, but I'm just not taking this as Gospel.

I also learned today not to take Hyams as Gospel.

I mentioned this earlier. I have a feeling it would be a deserted site for the most part. RF that is.

Why Peyton? surely he isn't jealous because Tee won the championship. Peyton won 2 superbowls and is going down as one of the greatest of all time!
Brice-
Martin has support on campus from boosters and from a wide swath of public opinion, but other sources indicate that Currie, booster Jimmy Haslam and Peyton Manning thus far are expressing zero intention to even interview Martin, a decorated recruiter
