I may be the only one, but I'm going to keep saying there is no reason why we should not be hiring Les Miles over any other candidate left on the radar... It's just idiotic to think that there is a coach with that resume, with recruiting power, that actually ASKED for an interview and we turned him down.... what world is the AD living in? I can buy into other reasons on other candidates, but not this one.

If you really want to lose you mind about this search and the incompetence of our AD, consider the fact that we knew we would most likely be replacing CBJ after the beat down Georgia gave us.

So, the AD had all of that prep time to get his ducks in a row. We all assumed things were rolling. He was putting out back channel feelers to build his coaching list. Screening potential hires and organizing his funding limits and initial values on ranked candidates. All the time our team is getting embarrassed on the field week after week.

I believe the reality is that all Currie did was call his buddy at OSU early on and then walk around FDH while our beloved program burnt to the ground. You know why limited information was coming from the AD side? because NOTHING was going on. He had his man and stood down. Lying to our boosters and VFLs to give the impression he was on top of this.

- So we squandered the head start we had on all others entering the coaching search this year.
- Currie did not properly vet Shirono (sp?). Should have leaked it early to gauge response.
- Currie stood by and let our rivals conduct proper searches and hire good coaches while holding to his plans to force his buddy on UT
-Sunday Happened - major PR nightmare

So here we are, scrapping the bottom of the barrel with him still at the reins. This is the biggest bucket of WTF I have ever seen.

Its got to do something with him making the LSU AD look bad I guess our clueless AD don't want the coach they hire making a fool of them too just themselves and the fans are allowed to

Ummm.

I'm gonna tap the brakes on this one. Guy looks like he's fighting it as he's being taken out. It's possible that he was chanting, but also that he's loaded, and in such a scenario they would be in the right to remove him.
