I'm gonna tap the brakes on this one. Guy looks like he's fighting it as he's being taken out. It's possible that he was chanting, but also that he's loaded, and in such a scenario they would be in the right to remove him.

All true, of course. That dude may be the Rodney King of the upcoming 2017 UT riots, though.

He wasn't resisting that much to deserve that, and there are multiple reports of them throwing people out for chanting fire Currie.

You're not the only one by a long shot.

Zero buyout, comes right in both barrels blazing, refreshed to take on another challenge, 3.5-4.0 max because he has no other offers, I bet he'd take a 4yr contact, and instantly go pluck up some good linemen on both sides of the ball, all while making a house call to the Mays family to give Trey some help...
Damn, I getting more mad writing this... I might drive up to TBA if there's enough time left and get in on the fire Currie chant myself....

What’s going on there give me a run down

Student section was chanting fire Currie during time outs. The started playing loud music and the band to drown it out. They then started during the game especially during free throws. They were warned to stop it be ejected. There was some commotion down there and it looked like they escorted someone out. They quit chanting it.

After these last couple days...Arent we all loaded and hoping it all a Bad Dream?

Could be. I'm just trying to stress caution. In the age of social media, stuff that ends up being blatantly false gets passed around like wildfire. I want more information, though. And if it turns out to have been a reasonable use of force, I want people to be willing to accept that.

Currie and the rest of our leadership are doing a good enough job of getting themselves fired. We don't need to pour gasoline on the rest of the university on the basis of this clip.

It's hard to tell if he's resisting. He dips down for a second. Is that him or the officer pushing him down?

Looked like he was trying to yell at the crowd and wasn't walking fast enough for the cops liking, so they started getting rough.

The search has been a circus. The stain on this search is going to be Sunday. And that's on Currie and his small circle. They didn't do enough research in how key people would react to Schieno.

I said it earlier, had Schieno been a championship coach the narrative from many regarding the Penn State stuff would have been different.

Since Monday, I think the search has been fine other than it's been too public. Gundy simply turned them down. That happens.

They weren't nearly as down the road with Brohm as thought earlier today. And now they are turning towards Doeren.

I don't know what the deal with Miles is. He can't get an interview with anyone at any level. I think some people may have gauged interest in Sumlin and he's not interested in coaching right now.

clearly, some Tennessee people don't think Tee is ready. I never felt that they would hire Kiffin. Too many bridges burned.

So that's kind of how its here as I see it. Currie is obviously taking a huge hit. But he still has the Haslem's in his corner and a 5 million dollar buyout. I don't see any moves with him taking place at this time.

Pour gasoline. Burn it down. It's like a forest fire, it's better for the forest in the long term.

Everyone will have a different view. I’m assuming he was not simply walking out and at the very least putting some forth some resistance while being escorted out.

Whether you think it is excessive is up for debate.

When the cuffs go on, best to settle down. If anything is out of place, your lawyer is going to be more effective than anything you think you are about to accomplish

Ty wish they’d pick it back up

I just don't understand why Currie keeps freaking out and running to the next guy. Just chill out step back and regroup. This early signing period got those douche bag so flustered. How was he even qualified to be AD.

dave the hitman hart was way better than this guy. I'm guessing he wasn't haslams *****
