At this point the fans would coalesce around Tee Martin. Some would have doubts but most would be excited and relieved. There wouldn’t be widespread riots, angry emails or fire Currie chants. We’d oretty much get behind him and he’d be a rockstar recruiter.

In short, Tee Martin is the obvious unifying hire at this point.

But much like firing Butch after the UGA game was the obvious choice (and clearly the right move in hindsight), I doubt Currie has the wherewithal to hire Tee. He is totally clueless. He will hire someone that angers and disappoints a broad swath of the fanbase and whoever that is will be fired in 2-3 years.

Earlier this month, jurors also heard a secret recording of Freeman, whom prosecutors consider the architect of the Flying J fraud, saying of Haslam’s involvement, “He knew — absolutely. I mean, [Haslam] knew all along that I was cost-plussin’ [code for the fraud scheme] this guy. He knew it all along. Loved it.”

Playing devils advocate here.....

I’m not saying Doeren would be him at all, but what would LSU fans have said if Twitter had existed in 2000 when Saban was announced from MSU.....

Again, not saying Doeren will be anywhere near Saban, but maybe give the dude a shot??

Currie is not the only obstacle for Tee.

JMO but, Tee unifies the majority on the front after this calamity. He also brings a Fulmer type exit if he doesn't work and won't be dropped as easy as Dooley or Jones.

I swear I'm not lying. UT just called to ask for an alumni donation. Needless to say, that conversation didn't go the way they expected.

After 10 minutes, it ended with, "Ok, sir, I'll make a note here not to call again until Davenport and Currie are fired".

Guys, I have my jersey in the avatar framed in my bedroom.

I swear I’m on the verge of breaking the glass, taking it back to Knoxville and burning it on campus.
