They said she's doing better now that the breathing tube in. There's just only so many times I can see one of my girls near death and not completely break down...which I did.

Been there 18 years ago. Almost had to give her CPR myself. God will see you thru this regardless. Mine is graduating in a few days. Keep your faith strong though it is hard.

So it seems I've missed a lot today....

  • To our baby vols and their parents: Not only do I believe things will be ok (just intuition) but you have my thoughts/prayer.

  • On roundball: I couldn't be more excited about our recruits!

  • On football: There looks like there is some optimism (not a lot but some) regarding the VP accusations. Why?

  • On this thread today: What'd I miss???

  • For you med peeps: Saw my PCP and he yanked the crap outta my leg, checked tendons, swelling etc. Like everyone else, he thinks I have a small meniscus tear that will heal up on its own. He told me that despite the pain and occasional swelling (FWIW it's gone done a LOT) I should be fine. Also, said I should worry if it gets no better and/or worse but right now it looks to be healing.
Anything else?

Doc, there are so many bars near where we right now, I've been tempted over the last week to partake in my fair share of tequila, and possibly a few others. In fact, I just mentioned to my wife that we should both treat ourselves to some liquid refreshment next week, once things have calmed down.

In terms of any impending nuptials...I'll simply respond like I have with my two older daughters, whom others have attempted to have their sons betrothed: as worthy as I can imagine Sutton may be, let's let my daughter start crawling and get out of diapers before boys start calling. :)
